Badminton starts in the mid 19th century, and first started in British India, it has become an Olympic sport in 1992. Badminton is a game with rackets in which a shuttlecock is played back and forth across a net. They play until one person reaches 21 points unless the score of the game is 20-20, they must play until of them have 2 points more than the other side, if they continue until both side 29-29, the first side to reaches 30th points win the game.

We have a Badminton club at South Shore gym, every Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 7:45 Am to 8:30 Am, you do not need to bring your own rackets to the club, they have rackets there for you, but you can still bring your own racket if you want to. The person that run the Badminton club is Ms. Apfel and she also the coach for Badminton. Sadly, we do not have a badminton team, but the person I interviewed says we Should have a badminton team, because we can play against another school. The person I interviewed, says joined the badminton club because she enjoys playing badminton with other students
