In the MLB AL West, the Mariners are finally leading. With a record of 34 wins and 27 losses, they are having a great season so far. The mariner’s homerun leader is Cal Raleigh with 11 of them and a .209 Batting Average and they seem determined to compete for this year’s playoffs and their pitcher Luis Castillo has 81 strikeouts this season but this year they have one of the best pitching lineups in the MLB and maybe they could go to the world series this year because they never have been to one. The Mariners are a talented team, but they need a world series for our city.
