Have you ever wondered what Mr. J does at South Shore? Well, he said that he is a sped IA. His role at South Shore is to provide help to students in class. He also helps with the bus duty when school is over and supports the teachers in class. He also says that he thinks it is a great school, a good community, and is very diverse. When I asked him if his job was stressful, he said “Yes, this job is stressful, having to deal with students that are having a bad time is not easy and it is hard getting them to behave.” He also says he would not go to another school because this school is great, and he states that it’s fun to work here and he thinks that the kids are awesome. Mr. J has been here for 3 years, he came here in the beginning of 2021. He likes to see kids happy and see all their different personalities.
